Workplace Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Workplace Policy describes how we work at BrainsLogic ("we", "us") — a senior-only software studio based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, delivering to clients across the USA, Canada, UK, UAE, Europe, and Australia. It sets out the standards we hold ourselves and our team to, so that clients get production-grade work and everyone here is treated with respect. It applies to employees, contractors, and anyone working on our behalf.

1. Equal opportunity

We hire, assign work, and promote on the basis of skill, judgment, and reliability — nothing else. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, age, disability, or any other personal characteristic. Everyone is evaluated on the quality of their engineering and the way they work with others.

2. Professional conduct

We expect senior-level behavior from senior engineers: own your work, communicate clearly, meet the commitments you make, and raise problems early rather than hiding them. We treat teammates, clients, and their end users with honesty and respect, and we say what is realistic rather than what is convenient.

3. Remote and onsite work expectations

We are a remote-first team with real timezone overlap for the clients we serve. Whether working remotely or onsite, we expect people to be reachable during agreed hours, keep delivery visible through regular updates, and be responsive to teammates and clients. Focused, dependable delivery matters more than where the work happens — but availability and clear communication are not optional.

4. Data privacy and confidentiality

Client code, data, credentials, and business information are confidential. We access only what we need to do the work, handle personal and business data responsibly, and never share client information outside the people working on that engagement. Client materials are used solely to deliver the agreed work and are returned or removed when an engagement ends, on request. How we handle information collected through our own website is covered in our Privacy Policy.

5. Anti-harassment

We do not tolerate harassment, bullying, intimidation, or discriminatory behavior of any kind — in calls, chat, code review, or any other setting, whether toward teammates or clients. Concerns can be raised directly and in confidence at ceo@brainslogic.com, and we take them seriously.

6. Communication standards

We communicate directly, in plain language, and without status theater. That means clear written updates, honest estimates, early flags when something is at risk, and technical explanations a client can actually act on. We keep discussions respectful and on-topic, and we document decisions so the work stays understandable as it grows.

7. Security and client confidentiality

Security is part of how we build, not an afterthought. We protect access to client systems, keep secrets and credentials out of code and out of the browser, use least-privilege access, and follow secure development and deployment practices. We do not reuse one client's data, code, or credentials for another, and we report any security concern promptly so it can be addressed.

8. Contact

Questions about how we work, or something you'd like to raise? Email ceo@brainslogic.com and we'll respond promptly.
